Bittermens Tepache is a spiced pineapple liqueur inspired by the tepache sold from barrels at neighborhood taquerias across Mexico: a mildly alcoholic brew made by fermenting pineapple rinds with cloves, cinnamon, allspice and piloncillo sugar. Real tepache spoils within a week, so Bittermens, the American company behind the craft bitters revival, turned a traditional recipe into a shelf-stable liqueur. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The taste is ripe, tangy pineapple with warm cinnamon, clove and allspice, a rich brown-sugar sweetness and a refreshing, slightly funky finish. Serve it over ice with a splash of soda water, or work it into tequila and mezcal drinks: a Tepache Margarita, a spiced Paloma, a pineapple Old Fashioned with reposado, or a mezcal highball. A fun, versatile bottle for anyone who loves Mexican flavors.Buy Bittermens Tepache Spiced Pineapple Liqueur online with fast shipping right to your door.
