The Gibson L-00 Century 12-Fret Acoustic Guitar captures the timeless charm of Gibson’s legendary small-body acoustics, now reimagined as part of the Century Collection celebrating 100 Years of Gibson flat-top guitars. Available at Sky Music Australia, this model delivers the intimate feel, rich tonal character, and vintage-inspired craftsmanship that have made the L-00 a favourite among generations of acoustic players.
Originally introduced in the 1930s, the L-00 has long been celebrated for its compact parlor-style design and exceptionally balanced voice. This Century 12-Fret edition enhances that heritage with a redesigned neck-to-body joint that shifts the bridge into a more resonant position on the soundboard, unlocking greater warmth, improved projection, and a more responsive, expressive tonal palette. Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides, it produces a warm, articulate tone ideal for fingerstyle playing and nuanced acoustic performance. The SlimTaper 12-fret mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard provide a smooth, comfortable playing experience with authentic vintage feel.
