It contains chlorhexidine diacetate, a broad-spectrum antibacterial agent, at no more than 60 µg/m. The 5-0 (EP 1) suture features a 17 mm, 1/2 circle, round-bodied taper point needle with a 70 cm suture length and an absorption profile of 90–120 days. Suitable for subcutaneous or intradermal suturing, GI surgery, urological surgery, and approximation of oral mucosa (e.g., gingival flaps). Packaged 12 per box with a 3-year shelf life from production date, it’s an efficient choice for veterinary surgical supplies and livestock health products inventories.
