The split monogram is the version of a name board that does not look like a novelty gift. A tall serif initial, the family name running straight through it, and a year underneath if you want one. It reads like something off the back wall of a good steakhouse.
Size is the other half of it. At nearly two feet long this carves a brisket without the ends hanging off, the drip ring catches everything before it reaches the counter, and it still looks right loaded with cheese and cured meat when people are over.
How to Personalize

Enter the Name. We set its first letter as the large initial and run the full name across the middle, so Johnson gives you a tall J with JOHNSON through it.

Add a Year if you want one. Enter the year only and it engraves as Est. 1998. Leave it blank to skip that line entirely.
